A botanical chart of the weeds and wildflowers we find in our own backyard, this detailed watercolour illustration is inspired by the botanical artistry of the 19th century. The motifs were painted for my Nostalgia Collection, a series of repeat patterns harkening a feeling of time standing still—a daydream in a garden or meadow. Each motif is delicately hand-painted—a form of slowing down in and of itself.
